About Serena
Hi! I'm Serena and I'm passionate about all things music related! I sing, play the guitar, write songs and produce my own music. After graduating with a BA in Vocals & Music Composition at university (UWL), I've started giving private music lessons, especially Guitar and Vocals. But I'd love to teach Songwriting and Music Technology too. I'm also an active member of the London music scene, performing in shows as a solo artist and with bands. I'm confident that with the theoretical knowledge together with the experience gained in the field I can help you out in developing your musical talent.

I teach to children & adults. In particular I give singing lessons from beginners to advanced and guitar lessons from beginners to intermediate. (I'd also be happy to expand the teaching to songwriting and music production if requested). When it comes to kids, I believe in tailoring the lessons according to their personalities and needs. Usually, the hardest part in teaching children is to make them follow a routine, it’s no secret that "practice makes perfect”. But practice won’t feel like a chore if it involves exercises that they want to do, rather than something they "have to" do. For older students, I'd like to be the supportive tutor who guides them within their passion and prepare them with the best tips and tricks I've learnt in my own experience as a performer artist & music student.

Perfect! Serena is a skilled singing teacher and guitar teacher who is also very patient and kind in her approach to teaching. She has helped me improve my skills in both singing and guitar. Lessons with her are fun and informative. She herself is a talented performer so it is very helpful to learn from someone like her if you are looking to improve your own performance skills.

Serena is an amazing tutor with so much knowledge about not only the voice but also about music in general! Her students will not only get to develop their voice, but also to tap into her amazing ability to write songs and creatively use their voice in whatever style they see fit. I would recommend Serena to anyone who is looking to use their voice more in their life, especially as a beginner because she will give you the confidence to develop further!
Serena is a kind and patient teacher, and a very positive person. She is very good at building confidence in others.
In my humble opinion, Serena is a great professional: she has both great teaching skills (she's patient, sunny, cheerful, encouraging) and musical skills, for which she has worked hard. Plus, she can become a great friend. 100% would recommend, I stopped taking lessons from her just because she moved to the UK.
Serena is an experienced vocalist with a positive attitude and thorough and deep knowledge of the voice and the music business at large. She is a great listener and can adapt to every need you may have, from technique and song choices to finding your individuality and own voice. Highly recommended!
