About Amelia
Music has been part of my life for years, and working through to my Grade 8 Musical Theatre certificate with AMEB taught me as much about patience and confidence as it did about performance. I know what it’s like to push through the tricky stages, to get nervous before an exam or a performance, and to have it all click into place — and that’s exactly the journey I love helping other people through.
Outside of music I’m a Law and Commerce student at Deakin University, so I understand how to break things down, stay organized, and keep someone motivated over the long haul. But music is where I get to share something I genuinely love rather than just something I’m good at.
I think lessons should feel like the best part of someone’s week, not another obligation. Whatever your age or reason for learning, I want you to leave each lesson a little more confident and still enjoying it.

I’m a Law and Commerce student at Deakin University with a 91.55 ATAR, and I teach music for any age and level. I’ve completed my Grade 8 Musical Theatre certificate with AMEB, so I’ve worked through the full progression myself and know what it takes at each stage.
If you’re a complete beginner, we’ll build the fundamentals patiently. If you’re working toward your own AMEB exams, I know exactly what’s expected and how to prepare properly — technique, performance, and the parts students tend to overlook.
Lessons are relaxed and shaped around what you want, whether that’s exam prep, technique, confidence, or simply learning because you love it. No question is too small, and I care more about you enjoying it and improving than ticking boxes.
