About Andrea
I am a dedicated Flute tutor with 7 years of teaching experience, working with school students, college learners, and working professionals. Teaching flute has allowed me to help students develop both musical skill and personal confidence.
My teaching philosophy focuses on clear instruction, consistency, and positive motivation. I believe learning music should be structured yet enjoyable. I adapt my teaching style to match each student’s learning speed.
In my lessons, students learn breathing control, tone clarity, finger accuracy, rhythm control, and musical expression. I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and performance preparation to build complete musicianship.
One of my key achievements is guiding students who have performed confidently at academic events, stage programmes, and music assessments. Many students have built strong musical foundations through regular practice.
My goal is to help students enjoy flute learning and develop a lifelong love for music.

I teach flute using a methodology that blends practical learning, understanding, and active communication. Real-life examples and case studies help students see how lessons apply in real music situations. I prioritise understanding each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and learning style to create lessons that are personalised and effective.
Communication is central; I encourage questions, discussions, and reflections to ensure active learning. Integrity guides my teaching—I provide honest guidance while motivating students to improve.
Alongside flute lessons, I also teach music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, and performance techniques to help students build a strong musical foundation. This approach develops technical proficiency, creativity, confidence, and a love for music.
