About Carina
I am a Music Student due to start my HND at Kelvin college and aim to study at Napier University for my Degree. I have spent the last year teaching junior highschool classes. I am Qualified in Grade 5 music theory and have advanced higher music, consistently achieving the top marks of my year group. I have attended Jazz School at Strathclyde University and the West of Scotland Schools Orchestra. I have been in several bands both classical and contemporary, my main instruments being flute and voice.

I find it important when tackling something like musical theory to find a musical way of remembering it; rhymes, rhythms, sometimes even short tunes. I always aim to make theory fun and engaging even if that means remembering it in a slightly silly way.
