Sarmistha Das – Vocal Artist Portfolio About Sarmistha Das is a versatile and classically trained Indian vocalist with deep roots in various genres including Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Geeti, Bhav Sangeet, and classical music. With over a decade of professional stage experience, she has carved out a name for herself as a soulful and expressive performer. ⸻ My Musical Training • Initial Training: Began her musical journey at the age of 4 under the guidance of her grandfather, the late Sri Sachindra Kumar Som. • Formal Classical Training: • Bhav Sangeet: Trained under Sri Kalyan Sen Barat. • Nazrul Geeti: Trained under Smt. Anushua Mukherjee. • Hindustani Classical Music: Trained under Acharya Jayanta Bose of the Binkar Gharana. • Rabindra Sangeet: Trained under Smt.
