About Alex
Hi, I'm Alex (they/them)! When I was 5 years old I started learning to play the violin, and not long after this I started having piano and music theory lessons. Since then I've gone on to complete my BMus (Hons) in Music, and I have over 2 decades of musical experience. From solo to ensemble performance to musicology, I have a broad range of experience and knowledge which I can draw upon to help you in your music theory studies.

I offer music theory lessons from 30-60 minutes in length. I have a BMus (Hons) in Music, and I am able to provide lessons to music theory students at various levels. Please get in touch if you have any questions about studying music theory with me! I am able to provide lessons to help you work towards your ABRSM theory qualifications, or to study music theory just for fun!

Details
For 60 minute lessons I charge £40. For 45 minute lessons I charge £30. For 30 minute lessons I charge £20. I set my teaching rates in line with recommendations made by the Musicians’ Union. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
