About Savannah
I am an active horn player with a Bachelor of Music in Education degree from the University of Puget Sound and am currently pursuing a Master of Music in Performance degree from Carnegie Mellon University. I have three years of experience teaching private music lessons in horn, saxophone, and trumpet as well as teaching middle school band for the past year.

My teaching method is based on my experience as an educator as well as my experience as a performer. I encourage my students to hold themselves to the highest standards while also providing them with resources to incorporate creativity and expression into their lives through music. A student of mine whether studying an instrument or taking music theory lessons will notice connections in music and will learn how to form healthy practice habits and set reasonable goals for themselves.
