About Saurav
Namaste! I am from the sacred city of Gayaji, the land of enlightenment and deep cultural roots. Hindi is not just my native language—it’s my passion, and I’ve been teaching it for over 3 years to school and college students, as well as to adult learners from across the globe. My students have consistently achieved excellent academic results and gained confidence in using Hindi in daily life. I’ve also helped tourists visiting Bodh Gaya learn conversational Hindi, and their positive feedback reflects the clarity, friendliness, and structure of my teaching style. I focus on practical use of the language while ensuring a strong foundation in grammar and writing. Having taught learners from age 10 to 45, I understand the challenges different students face—especially those who are shy or hesitant. My method creates a supportive, comfortable space where every student feels encouraged and capable. I believe that speaking Hindi is simple, but speaking correct Hindi can be more challenging. Correct Hindi involves understanding grammar rules, proper punctuation, sentence structure, and the subtle blending of words borrowed from other languages that are commonly used in spoken Hindi. My teaching method emphasizes clarity, accuracy, and expression. I ensure that students not only speak but speak correctly—with confidence and precision.
Each class is thoughtfully structured to include key elements: reading, writing, and listening activities. These foundational practices help beginners become comfortable with the language and make the journey toward fluency smoother. We begin with a new concept or grammar point, followed by interactive exercises, and end the class with short conversations in Hindi to reinforce what was learned.
As a poet and a published writer, I have a deep love and command over Hindi literature and grammar. This literary background enriches my teaching, allowing me to explain concepts through stories, verses, and cultural references. I also introduce students to the beauty of Hindi through elements from Hindu scriptures, Indian mythology, and classic texts—making the learning experience both informative and culturally immersive.
My classes are open to school students who need academic support, college-level learners, and adults who wish to learn Hindi for personal or professional reasons. For academic students, we focus more on writing skills, grammar, and exam preparation. For language learners, the goal is fluency and confidence in conversation, tailored to real-life situations.
