I believe that the most successful learning comes from making mistakes. I believe in positive reinforcement and work environments. A student and a teacher share a common goal: success. Lessons are essentially practice. I will work with you time and time again to master your desired skill: for some that may be going through something 3 times, for others it may take 20 times around. I want you to have a full understanding of the content/skill along with full confidence that you can execute it. No matter your focus/goals, we will have you sounding and feeling like a well-rounded performer!

I'm a passionate, committed, and enthusiastic teacher! I believe in the success of all my students and focus on a positive learning environment. Mistakes are the best way to learn! A lesson with me would consist of getting to know you, your experience, your interest and your desires/expectations for lessons. We would set goals together, and navigate from there! A standard lesson would consist of warm-ups/stretches (all of which are particularly selected to help your goals). This would be followed by rehearsing music. When rehearsing, we will focus on pitch/rhythmic accuracy, technique, diction, musicality, and performance quality. (some of these are inapplicable if you are learning an instrument versus voice) My job is to help you! I am a tool and an aid and love feedback to help specifically target achieving your goals! These lessons are for all ages. I have worked with ages four into adulthood in various settings. This has given me wider perspective allowing me to personalize more successful lesson plans for those I work with!
