About A'syria
I'm 17 years old. I'm from Houston Texas but I relocated to Sacramento at 13 years old. I've loved school for as long as I can remember. My dream is to go to medical school and become a doctor. I would love to work in pediatrics or cardiovascular services. My strongest subjects are History, English, Science, Art and Music. I'm a painter, I've played the violin for about 2 years and the Cello for 3 years. I'm currently learning how to play the piano and I've been singing professionally since I was 6 years old. I come from a huge family of 8 siblings and I have a ton of little nieces and nephews. I've worked for daycare facility called careful care so i'm great with children and i'm looking forward for as many tutoring opportunities as I can.

English is one of the easiest subjects for me to help with. During the first lesson one of the things I do is look at each students skill level and develop strategies that cater specifically to them. Weather its a writing assignment or exam I encourage my students to use those reading strategies and it helps with their overall performance. I like to start with homework and I assign small assignments for practice so that it increases their stamina and their ability to think critically. This is beneficial because they can use the strategies given to make proper judgement when it comes to multiple choice questions.

I have two kids and a single dad so it’s tough finding the time to help my kids with there homework. A’syria managed to teach both of them and they were both different grade levels. If you have a busy schedule and don’t have time to tutor your kids then having A’syria help is probably gonna be a smart choice if you want your kids to keep up with there school work.
