Sam started helping our son Callum who is dyslexic, with some Physics Revision for his GCSE. It made a big difference to his learning and understanding of the subject. Callum related to Sam easily, and his manner and approach was perfect. He ensured that the basic foundations on which everything is built was there, and then went onto revise the main topics. We met Sam just after Liam had his AS results and was feeling very low. He was very approachable, professional and flexible. He made it possible for Liam to understand the subject and actually enjoy his one to one lessons. His grades started to improve and he ended up with a really respectable grade A including an amazing 108/120 for his A2 written paper.
Physics was Liam’s weakest subject by far. He needed 3 As at A2 in order to pursue the university course he had chosen which was dentistry. None of his teachers believed he could do it but Sam gave him confidence and understanding by patiently waiting for him to work everything out himself.
