About Alex
I have been a teacher for ten years. I have considerable experience in teaching English to Spanish-speaking students as I have lived 5 years in Spain and two in Colombia. I have a degree in Applied Languages and a master’s degree in Translation and Interpreting. I am also a qualified English teacher. In 2009 I completed the CELTA (certificate in teaching English to adults) and in 2018 the DELTA (diploma in teaching English to adults).

My teaching method is very flexible. I always try to make my classes as communicative as possible so that my students have confidence when speaking in English. In Cambridge preparation classes, I focus on both exam technique and language, and try to help my students study more effectively both in class with me and outside of the classroom. After ten years as a teacher, I consider myself an expert in Cambridge and IELTS preparation classes, and also in pronunciation.
