About Jemima
I'm a British-born PhD student, studying history.
In 2020, I began learning Mandarin Chinese and became interested in the process of language learning. I soon made a number of language partners and as part of the language exchange, I would proof read and edit university coursework, funding applications and workplace presentations. I also read academic articles written in English and provided simplified key-point summaries.
From this experience, I realised there are many smart and brilliant people who have English as their second language, who would benefit from the help of a native speaker in achieving their academic and professional goals.
