Hi, I’m Ty! My approach to tutoring is relaxed, practical, and focused on real-life English that students can use every day. I believe the best way to learn a language is through conversation, examples, and consistent practice, rather than just memorizing grammar rules.
In my lessons, I focus on listening, speaking, pronunciation, and everyday vocabulary. I adapt my teaching to each student’s goals and learning style, whether that’s improving fluency, gaining confidence in speaking, preparing for travel, or understanding casual and professional English. I often use conversation practice, role-play, and personalized exercises to make the lessons interactive and engaging.
A typical lesson lasts around 25–30 minutes, but I am flexible depending on what works best for the student. I have experience communicating with people from different countries and backgrounds, which helps me connect and explain concepts clearly.
