About Abhishek
My mother tongue is English. I was employed by IBM in India as an English language specialist. I lived in the United States for two years and taught English in Japan during my exchange semester. I am currently teaching English to four French children in Rennes (grammar + dictation + pronunciation + oral). These trips allowed me to acquire a great experience in teaching English to age groups of different cultures, from the employees of the company to the children of the daycares, both physically and virtually. I hold an internationally recognized certificate for teaching English, accredited by CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH.

My teaching method is very subjective; for each student, I provide a personalized lesson plan that aims to help you with all aspects of the language, including speaking, listening, comprehension, vocabulary, etc. During the first lesson, we discuss your needs and objectives in detail and then establish a learning plan to help you achieve them.
I have experience teaching English to different age groups with varying requirements (age, level). The most important thing is to capture the person's attention according to what attracts him/her most in the language, be it through games or objectives (gamification). I prefer to slowly increase the introduction of new concepts and vocabulary according to the progression. In the end, it's all about being able to speak a foreign language fluently and without any blockages.
I also organize phonetic classes (Pronunciation + Syllabic stress) every week. I familiarize students with the different accents of the English language through voice recordings and video clips.
As an active former participant in ELT programs, I am always up to date on new English teaching techniques and have access to the most advanced and up-to-date resources for English learners.
In the past, my students have taken the following programs that I offer:
- English courses tailor-made for all levels based on language proficiency (teenagers, adults)
- Preparation for TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, BAC exams
- Professional Business English or Academic English
- Private or group lessons (up to 5 people)
- Face-to-face or distance learning (phone, Skype, Zoom, meeting places)
