About Simona
Hi! I’m Simona. I’m originally from Montreal, Canada, and I’m currently studying Marketing at a university in Rome, Italy. I’m a native English speaker and I love traveling, meeting new people, and discovering different cultures. I’m naturally very social and outgoing, so I want my lessons to feel relaxed, comfortable, and enjoyable. I also have a background in competitive cheerleading and coaching, which taught me how to motivate others and help them build confidence. I’d love to help you feel more comfortable and confident speaking English!

My teaching approach is relaxed, interactive, and personalized. I focus mainly on conversation and real-life situations so students can practice using English naturally and build confidence.
A typical lesson starts with a short conversation, followed by activities focused on the student’s goals, such as vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, or fluency. We finish by reviewing what we learned and discussing what to practice next.
What sets me apart is my experience as a competitive cheerleader and coach. Coaching taught me how to communicate clearly, be patient, motivate others, and adapt to different learning styles.
My lessons are for beginner to advanced students who want to improve their conversational English, pronunciation, vocabulary, travel English, or speaking confidence. Lessons can also be adapted for university, work, travel, or everyday conversations.
