Stephanie tutored our two boys from when they were 9 and 10 years old. We had to do most of the lessons remotely due to Covid, but it didn’t matter as Stephanie knew how to engage with the boys and keep them motivated throughout their lessons. Our aim of having a private tutor was to get the boys talking in french and enjoying it. Rather than set grammar lessons, Stephanie built fun conversational french lessons, teaching the boys the basics with vocabulary that was pertinent to them. The boys really enjoyed her lessons and never saw it as extra homework. She was a super star and we would have continued using her if we hadn’t moved countries!

Stephanie and I met through the music school our children attended. We had a number of conversations on her teaching experience and approach, which I very much liked and subscribed to. I thus asked her if she could give private lessons to my daughter. She did for a couple of years. My daughter’s proficiency and confidence improved significantly as a direct result. They were crowned by top results in her French GCSE.
