About Tingyu
Having lived in Germany for 15 years, I am completely fluent and proficient in pronunciation, spelling, and grammar. I have completed IB German at Higher Level and received full marks (7/A*). I have a lot of experience with younger kids, having worked at my sister's kindergarten and primary school for work experience.

Having very recently completed the IB, I am experienced in exam preparation. I provide the most effective studying techniques based on my personal experience, which mostly revolves around past paper exam questions, vocabulary building and specific activities for grammar and spelling. However, I understand that people have very different learning styles, so I am very open to adaptation. For younger students wanting to learn German, I take an approach mostly based on conversation and speaking. Having an 8-year-old sister who is learning German as well, I have many techniques to incorporate learning with fun. I am extremely patient and understand the challenges and pitfalls when learning a new language. I provide a wide range of activities for all levels, to find the most suitable learning style for the student. I am also willing to adapt and tutor based on the given course textbook.
