About Jocelyn
Hi, there! My name is Jocelyn, and I’m a native Indonesian speaker currently studying English Education in Indonesia. I’m fluent in English, meaning I can explain Indonesian clearly in English, helping you learn faster and more confidently. I have been teaching Indonesian as a Foreign Language (BIPA) for almost a year. I also work as an English grammar teaching assistant at my university. Teaching is truly my passion, and my academic background has equipped me with effective teaching methods.

- During our first free session, I will assess your current level and ask about your interests. This is so that I can tailor lessons that are truly suitable for you.
- You will not only learn formal Indonesian but also how Indonesians actually speak in everyday life.
- You will also learn about Indonesian culture, its folklore, food, tourism destinations, myths, (everything!) that will truly bring the language to life and prepare you to connect with locals.
- I will also provide extra exercises to give you the chance to grasp the language independently. But don’t worry! We will discuss them during our session.
- Our session lasts 1 hour, with a schedule that we agreed upon.
