About Shanila
I lived and studied in Spain (Madrid) until I was 18 and moved to London to pursue a degree in Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London. I have just graduated and started a PhD in Bioscience at UCL.
My previous experience teaching students of different ages and backgrounds has helped me develop a wide range of teaching methods and skills that I am confident I can adapt to teach or tutor Spanish, my native language.
I have been tutoring children between the ages of 3 and 16 for over 5 years now. I have been a teaching assistant for English language classes in Spain aimed at kids between 3 and 6 years old. In London I have been a tutor for Year 2 and 3 kids (Writing, Spelling and Maths) and for GCSE level (Maths, Chemistry, Biology).
