About Irene

Hi, I'm Irene from Taiwan. Mandarin is my native language, and I'm also fluent in English with some Spanish.

I've taught students of all levels—from complete beginners to advanced—in classrooms across the US and Mexico, working with both adults and children. Whether you're learning Mandarin for work, travel, family, or simply out of interest in the language and culture, I'll design your lessons around your goals and lifestyle.

My Teaching Experience

• Chinese school teaching assistant in California

• After-school Chinese Teaching program in California

• Mandarin teacher in Mexico Chinese Language institution, teaching adults, children & heritage learners

• Helped overseas students with speaking, writing & creative projects in Mandarin Learning

• Worked as an English tutor (lesson planning + student support)

• Designed custom courses, exams, and learning materials

Learning Mandarin takes time, but I'll guide you every step of the way.

I aim to help you feel relaxed and confident speaking Mandarin, and to genuinely enjoy the learning process.

Looking forward to meeting you in class!
