About Ivy
I am a native Mandarin speaker with experience teaching students from diverse backgrounds and language levels. I understand that learning a language is not just about memorizing vocabulary or grammar rules — it’s about being able to use the language naturally and confidently in real situations. Because every learner has different needs, my lessons are fully tailored to your goals: • Improve speaking fluency • Communicate more naturally with friends, colleagues, or partners • Prepare for academic or professional Chinese • Refine pronunciation and expression to sound more natural and confident I don’t teach by forcing memorization. I teach you to understand the logic of the language, so you can think in Chinese instead of translating.

My approach adapts to your level and pace, but the core goal remains the same:
You will learn to actually use Mandarin — clearly and comfortably.
Lessons may include:
• Real-life conversational practice
• Tone and pronunciation coaching
• Practical grammar explained in a simple, clear way
• Vocabulary trained through usage, not memorization lists
• Scenario-based role play and everyday speaking patterns
• Listening and response training to build natural fluency
Who This Is For
• Complete beginners
• Learners who want to improve pronunciation or accent
• Anyone seeking more natural, fluid conversation
• Business or professional communication needs
• Students preparing for travel, exams, or relocation
Wherever you are, we start from there — and move forward together.
Lesson Atmosphere
• Calm
• Supportive
• Patient
• Encouraging you to speak — even when imperfect
You do not need to be perfect.
You just need to show up. I’ll guide the rest.
Language learning doesn’t depend on talent - it depends on method.
I provide the method.
Your progress will speak for itself.
If you’re ready, let’s begin.
