About Ewa
Hello! My name is Ewa and I am passionate about learning and teaching languages. I was born and raised in Poland where I used to live until I discovered my interest for different cultures and languages.
I have studied in France, travelled and worked in Poland, France, Spain, Italy and England and now I have been living in the UK. Speaking languages has influenced my whole life. I teach my native Polish and also French and Spanish. I really enjoy working with people from different cultural backgrounds and showing them that languages, especially Polish, are not so difficult as it seems.
I also love travelling and enjoy learning about new cultures and experiencing them first hand. Being able to use my language skills in daily life situations makes my travelling more enjoyable and enriched.
My qualified teaching experience spans over 15 years and I have worked in a wide variety of different academic, corporate and private tutoring environments teaching Polish, French and Spanish. My students of all ages have ranged from absolute beginners to advanced learners. I recently devised several bespoke language courses which have received much critical acclaim.
I am currently engaged by University of Chester providing Polish language courses alongside my expanding portfolio of private students.

As a language teacher, I am always deeply involved in planning and preparation which allows me to deliver lessons to the highest standards. I use a variety of teaching methods, effective materials and resources, giving learners opportunities to develop and practise their skills. Of critical importance to me and to my students is tailoring my approach to their needs.
I pay attention to teaching within a cultural context and being very creative I enjoy sourcing materials, making the learning process challenging and yet enjoyable. I am a huge advocate of using modern day technologies in the teaching and learning process.
