About Inês
Hi! My name is Inês, and I’m a university student currently living in Lisbon. I spent 9 years living in the United Arab Emirates, where I learned English from scratch, since Portuguese is my mother tongue. This experience taught me that the best way to learn a new language is to have confidence and not be afraid of making mistakes — advice that truly changed my life.
When I first moved abroad, I didn’t speak any English at all. By pushing myself to practice every day and embracing my mistakes, I quickly discovered the most effective and enjoyable ways to learn.
Because of this journey, I understand exactly how challenging (and exciting!) learning a new language can be. With over 5 years of tutoring experience, I love helping others build confidence and improve their skills in a supportive and friendly environment.
