About Eloise
I am a qualified teacher, native French speaker and I have over 10 years of experience teaching various curricula and levels. I have taught in primary and secondary schools as well as having taught to adults for professional purposes.
I have successfully prepared students for A-Level, GCSE, IGCSE, IBDP and AP examinations as well as DELF and DALF qualifications.

My lessons typically include a practice of all skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) with some grammar concept linked to the texts. I use authentic documents, which allow for some cultural knowledge acquisition.
Lessons for exam preparation comprise of exercices from past papers with tips on time management, how to approach each type of exercise and basic skills needed for each topic. The lesson also includes vocabulary drilling and grammar practice.
Depending on the needs of the student, I focus my lessons on some particular skills (i.e.: pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, etc.) and choose the topics accordingly (travelling, professional, etc.).
