About Sara
I am a native Spanish speaker, currently studying English Language and Linguistics at Lancaster University. I did the Spanish GCSE and A Level (achieving A*s in both), so I am familiarised with the British examination process. Plus, throughout my life I have studied several different languages (English, French, Basque, Korean and Mandarin) using different methods and gaining varying degrees of fluency, so I am quite aware of the process of language learning in general.
In terms of experience, I am only starting out, but I have spent two terms teaching Spanish for beginners at the Culture Society of my university last year (and will continue to do so next year) and was the president of the Spanish Speaker's Society back at school. I have also frequently helped my classmates with their Spanish, most commonly in preparation for their Speaking exams.

I am quite flexible in terms of structure and lessons would depend entirely on the student and their objectives.
If the student is studying towards an examination or is in school we would probably initially look at whichever material they are already learning in class and work from there. Fill in any gaps in their knowledge, go over any challenging areas and then maybe look into moving forward to extra material and topics they may be interested in.
If the student is interested in learning the language but is not already following a curriculum it's really up to them. I already have some material for teaching beginners, but I am more than happy to look for or create more material for different levels or areas of interest. I especially like working with powerpoints and creating interactive exercises.
If you want to focus in a specific area of the language, like Speaking, I am also more than happy to focus on that.
