About Marco
I was born and bred in San Jose, Costa Rica and the Spanish language is my native language. I have tutored Spanish informally at various levels for some years. I really love conversing and helping others learn Spanish in an informal safe space in a conversational capacity.
In terms of higher education, I have a degree in Creative Arts from Costa Rica. I also completed a short course in Directing at the National Television and Film School (NFTS) in 2017. In the future, I hope to do a post-graduate degree in directing.

I tutor based upon my own experience of learning English. I try to cater to any sessions of conversational tutoring to mirror conversations you might have within a Spanish speaking country. I speak standard Spanish with a Costa Rican dialect.
Within any tutoring I give, I always seek to ensure the student has a solid understanding and feel for the local culture. This is very important for me as I find there is a lot to be learnt from the active culture which is all around us.
