About Belén
I am a passionate and ambitious person, someone who is excited to pass on the love for learning languages. I am fluent in English and Spanish as well as being confident in French. I lived and attended school in Spain and moved to the United Kingdom to start my further education studies. Once I qualified, I started my career teaching as a primary school teacher. As someone who has learnt English as a second language, I know first hand what strategies to use to become fully fluent in a native language.

As an experienced primary school teacher, my approach to teaching is one that focuses on involving the students as much as possible by fully immersing them into the language. Having been brought up in Spain and therefore Spanish being my native language I am passionate about sharing the love and excitement for my mother tongue. My lessons are very interactive and fun, always making sure I move on only when the student is ready and comfortable. I have a Bachelor of Science in Education and Psychology as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. I also have an intermediate level of French. I have worked as a private tutor in the past for a total of 5 years tutoring children from the age of 6 to 17. Furthermore, I have taught Spanish to adults for a total of 2 years, from complete beginners to more advanced learners. My lessons are aimed at anyone who is interested in learning Spanish whether that is a complete beginner or more advanced learners with no age limit.

Perfect! I’ve really enjoyed by lessons. They are always fun and they’re structured in a way so that it gets you to improve on all aspects including speaking, listening, reading and revising previously learnt vocabulary!
