About Omer
I am a native speaker from Turkey. I've lived there my whole life, and visited a good portion of the country, so I have experience with many different dialects and accents. I've also had education in Turkish language and literature, and have an interest in languages and linguistics in general. I've helped many friends learn at least the basics of Turkish before.

I realise that Turkish can be a tough language to learn, but it also has greate cultural significance, as well as strong ties to many other languages. I try to accentuate these to make learning the language more fun, for example by as using anologies behind the origins of certain phrases or words. I've had experience with many different languages before, and I've found that linking words and concepts to the student's native language is always a great way to help them learn.
