About Amanda
I love tutoring with students one-on-one, because it lets me figure out what works best for each student. My goal is to help you learn and to achieve your language goals. I believe the best way to do that is to approach Spanish in a practical, communication-centered way. I encourage questions and enjoy sharing my passion for the Spanish language and Spanish-speaking cultures. I have taught all levels of Spanish-language classes at the university level, and students often continue on with me as they advance in their studies.

I love working with beginner students, both high schoolers and undergrads. Learning a language can be daunting, but I enjoy teaching the students to understand how Spanish actually works, so they can improve their knowledge, skills and confidence. Language learning is about communication, and should be fun.
