About Leah
Hi! I’m Leah, from Scotland! My native language is English, however I am C1 in French. I am currently a high school student sitting my SQA Advanced Higher exams, I achieved an A in English at SQA Higher and I am on track to achieve a A at Advanced Higher French!
I have always had a growing passion for languages and I love to share this with other people!
I understand what it feels like to be a student navigating stressful exams and tricky grammar rules..
Outside of tutoring I love learning about different cultures and languages. I hope to make learning a new language less intimidating and more fun! It’s not all about textbooks and classrooms after all!

In my lessons I offer affordable and supportive teaching for learners of all ages and stages in their learning! Needing help getting to grips with the basics of English, or do you just need someone to practice your conversation skills with? I am always happy to chat!
I believe that language learning should be enjoyable and also practical, so I focus on building skills tailored to your own way of learning! I also believe that culture comes hand in hand with language learning so I love to incorporate this into my lessons!
My lessons are relaxed, and take a casual approach to learning! If you lead a busy life with other studies and want to keep your learning to just our lessons that is 100% fine by me, or if you would like me to further support you and help you study then I am prepared to do so too!
