About Olivia
I am a Geography graduate with a particular passion for helping people understand how our extraordinary world works. I would love to make topics such as urbanisation, globalisation and natural disasters engaging and enjoyable.
I am approachable and friendly and I understand that every student learns differently. My experience supporting and teaching younger students through sport has helped me develop these qualities, and I want to bring the same positive and encouraging approach to my geography lessons.
I have an up-to-date DBS Certificate.

My GCSE Geography lessons are student-led and focused around the individual needs of each learner. Each one-hour session will begin with short practice tasks to identify the areas that need the most attention, allowing us to focus the lesson where it will be most useful. I am available 7 days per week with flexible hours.
I can support students of all GCSE levels with essay planning and structure, developing strong responses to short answer questions and improving exam technique. I can also introduce different revision techniques to help students find methods that work best for them.
While I am new to formal Geography tutoring, I have experience teaching and supporting younger students through sport, which has helped me to develop strong communication, patience and an adaptable teaching style. I hold a BA (Hons) in Geography and aim to make every lesson supportive, engaging, and tailored to the student.
