About Lauren
My name is Lauren and I am an Oxford University (BA History) graduate. I passed my Solicitors Qualifying Exams in August having attained a Distinction in my MA Law (PGDL + Dissertation) course. I initially attended a non-fee-paying state school in South Wales, where I achieved 11*s at GCSE and 4 A*s at A Level (English Literature, History, Art & Design and Welsh Baccalaureate), plus an A in AS Level Maths.
I am not a boring tutor. I believe engagement is key and dedicate time to tailoring every lesson to each student’s specific learning style, requirements, and aspirations. This means my students build on areas of low confidence, reinforce their knowledge with practice, and achieve their goals without being bored out of their minds.
It is fair to say I am not ‘all academia, no personality’. I am a drummer and an artist, and I enjoy running and going to the gym. I am friendly and relatable, and I would love it if you picked me as your tutor!
