About Sonia
Hello my name is Sonia! I have been giving lessons as a personal tutor for 2 years to students aged 4-15 years. I have also been involved in peer mentoring helping other students from different universities with essay writing. My experiences of this have developed a variety of skills such as communication techniques and patience. Also, I have developed my style of teaching to suit different learners for example, different ways to teach spellings such as memory games. The achievements of my students are broad ranging from passing their GCSE exams to getting high percentages on their essays in university.

My teaching is mainly aimed at those aged 4-16 years however, I am very happy to take up all ages. My techniques and methods when teaching lessons are to build up on students weaknesses. For example, the lessons may include what they are struggling in and innovative ways to improve this such as the use of practice papers and quizzes. I also like to give feedback regularly to help them understand how they can improve.
