About Choo
I am an NUS ASEAN Undergraduate Scholar with 4A* in Cambridge A-Levels, including Mathematics and Further Mathematics. With over 2 years of tutoring experience, I have helped students achieve strong academic results, averaging A and A* grades.
I am not only passionate about teaching Mathematics but also a patient, friendly and approachable tutor who believes every student learns at their own pace. I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence and achieving their academic goals.

I believe that every student has the potential to excel in Mathematics with the right guidance, encouragement and learning approach. My teaching philosophy focuses on building strong conceptual understanding, developing problem-solving skills and helping students gain confidence in Mathematics, rather than simply memorising formulas.
My Teaching Methodology:
I adopt a personalised teaching approach based on each student's learning pace, strengths and weaknesses. I begin by assessing their understanding of key mathematical concepts before introducing suitable explanations, worked examples and practice questions.
Regular practice, constructive feedback and targeted revision are essential parts of my lessons. I also encourage students to ask questions freely and learn from their mistakes.
Lesson Duration:
1h - 1.5h, depending on the student's age, academic level and learning needs.
My Qualifications and Teaching Experience:
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration at the National University of Singapore (NUS) under the prestigious ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarship.
I achieved 4A* in my Cambridge A-Levels, including Mathematics and Further Mathematics, and have approximately 2 years of tutoring experience teaching students from different academic backgrounds.
My lessons are suitable for:

- IGCSE students
My ultimate goal is not just to help students achieve better grades, but also to develop their independence, critical thinking and long-term appreciation for Mathematics.
