About TANZANIA
Bronx-born Black American artist Tanzania Hughie is a triple threat: actress, writer, and director. A love for the arts, nurtured by her culturally rich upbringing, has fueled Tanzania's creative journey since a young age. She honed her acting skills at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts after studying Fashion and Design at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Tanzania's talents have graced television, commercials, theater, and film. She made her writing and directing debut on "Bully The Rise of Two Kings," a series created by Alex Hugo. This success led her to launch Tanzania Hughie Productions, offering services in coaching, scriptwriting, production, and event management.
Beyond entertainment, Tanzania is passionate about social justice. During the pandemic, she documented the Black Lives Matter movement, including marches in Rochester, Wisconsin, and New York City. Empowering Black and Brown youth is another of her driving forces. For over 25 years, Tanzania has helped young people discover their creative potential.
A powerful voice for marginalized communities, Tanzania aspires to make a lasting impact on culture through her artistry. She uses her film, voice, writing, life experiences, love, and, of course, art, to advocate for those who need it most.

Details
I am a nominated screenwriter, actor, director and producer. I have done independent work since graduating the conservatory. I have real industry knowledge working with and auditioning for ABC, NBC, and Netflix. I charge this amount because I help young people and adults access their emotions in a very somatic practice along with Meisner, viewpoint, and bodywork.
If you are looking for me to do a bootcamp or international travel all inquires can be made at (concealed information) and will include lodging. travel, and per diem.
When coming for an in person class note i do have a service dog. She doesn't interfere with you lesson and we can relocate but she is here.
Overall my sessions tend to be indepth and give you what you need as long as you do the work. I hope to see you in person or on screen.
