About Ziva
I am a recent Master of Teaching graduate (with Primary/Junior qualifications) and member of the Ontario College of Teachers. Currently, I am working towards gaining my Intermediate/Senior qualifications in English. Over the past two years, I have taught Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, and Science to Grade 1, 3, and 4. I have also been a private tutor since 2019. I have always loved reading/writing and welcome any opportunity to help others find enjoyment from it as well!

My lessons are geared towards students who struggle with reading and writing, whether at the Elementary or High School level. I don't expect all my students to end up loving reading and writing, but I do aim to facilitate them in going beyond their comfort zones and striving to do better.
My goal is to work with students, not teach "at" them. We will work together to identify their strengths and areas of improvement, and then I will build my lessons around that.
