About Jean Pierre
Hello, My name is Jean Pierre and I’m a musician from Chile. I graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2011, and I’ve been working as a full-time guitar instructor and music teacher for more than 20 years. I was trained in Classical Guitar, but for many years I've been teaching a wide gamut of styles, ranging from pop acoustic songs, Blues, Rock and Metal, all the way to South-American traditional songs. I’ve also taught classical guitar repertoire and contemporary concert music. - Bachelor of music in Film-scoring from Berklee College of Music (Boston, USA) - 15+ years of teaching experience (Chile, USA, France) - Directed my own music school - The Rock Institute (Boston, USA) - Performed several venues - Composer and orchestrator for productions, films and video-games. Perfect! Jean Pierre is a naturally gifted teacher who creates a fun and friendly environment for you to learn the guitar! Not only is he talented and professional, but also extremely patient and will help you feel at ease during your lessons. JP's passion for music is obvious, I'm feeling positive and motivated to continue my guitar-playing journey under his tuition. Highly recommended!
Perfect! What I find most striking about Jean Pierre is that he seems to always genuinely enjoy playing and transmitting his knowledge to others. I think I would have given up playing by now if it was not for his positive energy. I never feel pressured to practice but I often want to! His knowledge of different playing styles and genres is also great, as it allows me to discover what kind of guitar player I want to be!

Jean Pierre is an amazing teacher. Passionate about his profession, he patiently knows how to guide you to reach yours goals and show the best of yourself. I learned really fast thanks to his classes and I can’t recommend him enough.
JP is not only a great musician and guitar player, but he is one of those people who were born to teach. He is passionate about it, he loves explaining and he doesn't rest until he is completely sure that you understood. He is super friendly and generous with his knowledge and you can see that he really loves what he does. I've come a long way since working with him and I am so thankful I found him!
Jean-Pierre is a talented and professional musician who knows how to share his passion for music. Knowledgable, patient, and dedicated, he has what it takes to give guitar lessons and help you grow from a beginners' level to an advanced level. Jean Pierre helped me finally get going with the Guitar. It's over a year now and my guitar skills got from none to being able to enjoy what I play. He's a great teacher that knew how to adapt to my level, style of music and learning curve, while also suggesting some great pieces to reach a great variety in my play. The lessons are always an enjoyable moment with him! Don't see myself stopping anytime soon :)
