About Youssef
I think it's great you're looking to learn Arabic and I'm not saying that just because I teach the language. I usually give 3 types of lessons: 1) Traditional Arabic lessons: This type of lessons is targeted at serious, long-term Arabic learners. This type follows the Al Kitaab Arabic as a foreign language program, which is the most commonly used textbook for teaching Arabic. 2) Egyptian dialect: This type of lessons is targeted at people who already have the basics of MSA and are looking at learning the Egyptian dialect. This type of lesson follows the Kallimni Arabi Language learning program published by the AUC Press. 3) Conversation Lessons: These lessons are aimed at those who want to practice their speaking skills. These lessons don't have a specific curriculum; we usually pick a few topics to discuss before the lesson and then talk about them in the lesson. These lessons are also accompanied with writing assignments because I believe that the two of them go together hand in hand. I'm also a fluent English speaker so communication shouldn't be an issue between us. I can also speak fairly good German

Perfect! Youssef has been an excellent tutor. You can tell he has a great understanding of the Arabic language (MSA and Egyptian) , which is very helpful in understanding the foundation of the language. He has been very patient and provides great examples during the lesson and has always made himself available for questions. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Youssef for those who seek to learn Arabic. Youssef is thorough, thoughtful, and adapts the pace of his teaching to your needs. He is always quick to reply to messages, is generous with his time, and flexible whenever needed. I have found he is willing to go the extra mile to be sure you understand prior and current material. I have had an incredibly positive experience learning from him.
Youssef is competent and very patient with me. I was nervous to start learning a new language and feel confident and hopeful that I can be successful with his classes.
