About Chloe

Hello all , my name is Chloe Lennards .I am a native English speaker from my motherland South Africa . In South Africa we have 11 languages and from those 11 I speak English and Afrikaans . I also did a course and I now have a 120 hr TEFL certificate .I would love to offer you a safe , secure , calm and relaxed space where you can practice your English and who knows you’ll maybe be the top English speaker next !! I know how frightening and nerve wrecking learning a new language may be that’s why in this class mistakes are completely okay.I am a very bubble teacher , who not only wants to be your guide and mentor but your friend as well.
I am also a very patient teacher who will sit with you no matter how long just to ace your English speaking .
I’m looking forward to meeting new faces and helping you all out in acing English .
I’m so excited to embarking this new journey together .
Whilst being on school I was also one who loved English , I always helped my friends with English especially with their reading . I helped them memories things easily by the manner in which I did it , I believe that making things fun and interactive really plays a huge role in other’s understanding and learning.
I am the oldest sibling in my family and while my parents worked , I was home helping my two younger siblings with their homework , I was very patient as I’m a patient person and I tried everything to make learning fun and understanding for them. My favourite subject to help them with is English , up to this day I really enjoy helping them with their homework

About the lesson

Class Description is ; engaging and interactive class, students will develop essential English skills in reading and conversation.Our focus would be on ;
Phonics: Sounding out letters and blending sounds to read words.
Decoding: Practicing reading skills through guided and independent reading.
Conversation: Building confidence in speaking and listening through discussions and role-plays

My teaching approach would be:
Multi-sensory activities to reinforce phonics and reading skills
Encouragement of active listening and speaking through conversations and group work
Some extra information on what I’d like to do during my teachings :
Warm-up activities to review previous lessons and build vocabulary
Guided reading and phonics instruction
Conversation practice through discussions, role-plays, and games . This class is designed to be a supportive and stimulating environment where students can grow in their English skills and confidence.
