About Charles
I am a University of York Computer Science student in my second year. I've always been passionate about STEM subjects, having taken Maths, Physics, Computer Science and Further Maths at A-Level. I have up-to-date experience with the exam process, and utilising revision techniques to help nail in content. I am happy to work with students who struggle with nerves about exams, and I'd love to give the opportunity to thrive in such an environment!

I find that Maths can be super enjoyable, but only when comfortable! It is important to find a good starting point and build up confidence and grades from there. Using techniques such as learning-through-doing and reverse-teaching, I guide students through GCSE Exam prep, revision and advancing past lessons. I find that if I can explain a subject, then I know it to its core! I also work on exam skills: - Exam timing - Confidence - Understanding questions These approaches and techniques should improve grades and calm exam nerves through confidence and consistency.
