About Izzy
I am British but I grew up in Hong Kong, which gave me the opportunity to learn Mandarin fluently. I have always been passionate about helping people grow and develop new skills. I have had experience working with autistic children, taught in orphanages and done Mandarin tutoring in hong kong. I hope I can pass on my love for both the language and culture to students eager to learn.

My approach to learning is through fun, utilising games and activities to help keep the student engaged with the content. Growing up learning a language from a textbook was incredibly difficult and boring. From my own experience of learning and teaching Mandarin students excel more through interaction.
I have Mandarin qualification A in GCSE, Level 7 in IB and undergraduate GGA qualification (score 92%)
