About Charlotte
My name is Charlotte, and I am a 21-year-old graduate of Newcastle University. I have a First Class Honours degree and was awarded the prize for outstanding performance in philosophy. I have always been interested in philosophy, and it has always been my favourite subject. Throughout my academic career, I have found tutors incredibly helpful. I have often struggled with being very worried about exams and essay results! Contacting a tutor really helped me with this and also made me enjoy the subject again. Because of this, I feel that I can offer valuable academic support to help you achieve those excellent marks you are capable of. As a tutor, I aim to boost confidence in the student's ability to achieve top marks. Often, having low confidence in your academic ability can hold you back. My tutorials would be an hour long, but of course, if the student wanted a longer session to review something they're struggling with, that would be possible! I am best suited to teach any secondary school level of Philosophy (GCSE, IB, A-Level). Depending on the topic, we can plan essays, understand tricky texts together, and learn how to develop sophisticated philosophical writing and analysis.
