About Nilanjan
I am a postdoctoral researcher in physics at Indian Institute of Science. I have been a Teaching Assistant for many BS-MS/Undergraduates in India (during PhD) and in US (during post-M.Sc) in the past 7 years and helped many students to learn those courses. I was involved in setting up question papers and conducting online mock tests for CSIR NET aspirants during last 2 years of my PhD. I have myself cleared IIT-JAM/NET(JRF)/GATE/JEST exams. I enjoy teaching the basics of physics as it uncovers new aspects every time you teach the same topic. I believe that I can guide a student very well to prepare for such exams.

My classes are intended mainly for the B.Sc physics students and the aspirants of IIT-JAM/NET/GATE/JEST etc. exams. I like to explain the main concepts of the topics and then apply those to solve physics problems to solidify our understanding about the topic . So my classes will be a combination of discussion on the theoretical concepts followed by problem solving. Students can expect a good amount of home task a part of which will be discussed in the tutorials. Also I allow students in my teaching to do critical thinking which will help them in future.
