About Akos
I'm a fully qualified piano teacher studied in Hungary (Erkel Ferenc Conservatory) and Ireland (Royal Irish Academy of Music)
I've got 2 prize in several piano competitions in Ireland. I have been teaching for 14 years in music school and privately using various methods, and 100+ books to find motivating music for every student. All references are available.

Akos is a wonderful piano teacher. I was/am a late starter. I started piano five years ago when I was 51 without prior piano lessons and I have finished ABRSM grade five and am getting ready for grade six with Akos. I hugely recommend him.
I started learning piano with Akos over 5 years ago — and I was already over 40 when I began! His friendly, supportive approach made it easy to fall in love with playing. He explains everything clearly and really listens to what you want to achieve. Thanks to his guidance, I reached Grade 5 with Distinction, which I never thought possible. If you’re looking for a teacher who’s patient, inspiring, and genuinely passionate about music, I can’t recommend Akos enough.
Akos is an exceptional piano teacher with great pedagogical sense. His lessons are customized and enjoyable, and I always feel in a state of flow. He has taught me various styles and is always happy to help me learn songs I like. He also supported me with my RIAM and now with ABRSM exams, often with distinction.
