About Lauren
My name is Lauren! I am an Ontario certified teacher local to the Niagara Region.
I have been teaching middle school classes for the past three years - a job that I love so much. It's so much fun to see how students grow and excel in middle school, and it's a joy to see my students fall in love with the subjects that I love as well.
I grew up around Niagara, spending most of my childhood either in the bayfront of Hamilton or around Henley Island in Port Dalhousie. When I am not teaching, I love to be outside. I used to be a competitive athlete for Canada alongside my older brother. However, I now coach instead of play, but being on the water in any capacity is one of my all-time favorite ways to spend a day.

As an Ontario Certified French Immersion Teacher, French is my passion. Although it can be daunting, the rules and tricks to set you apart from the rest are just around the corner!
In the classroom, I have helped almost twenty students successfully pass the DELF examination with ease. For me, French is all about confidence, calmness and knowing the 'tricks of the trade'. In my French tutoring, explore some of the games, exercises and conversation techniques that will allow you to grow tenfold as a French conversationalist, ready for your next adventure or exam!
