About Michael
I am a recent graduate of the Royal College of Music and now work internationally as an opera singer. This summer I have contracts in England, Ireland and Lithuania.
I have always had a keen interest in vocal technique and I love helping other singers to solve the technical problems their voices throw up. My own practice is firmly rooted in the Italian bel canto tradition, but singers interested in other genres are absolutely welcome to get in touch if they are interested in working on breath, support and alignment to take their singing to the next level.
Before training at the RCM I read music at the University of Cambridge. I am always happy to work with pupils who would like to improve their musical literacy as well as their singing, or even those who just want to improve their music theory; I have had many theory pupils in the past.

My approach to singing teaching is led by you and what you want from your singing. I will help you free your voice and technique so that singing is always an easy, enjoyable thing to do. I can also help advanced students interested in operatic repertoire to take their technique to the next level and achieve their singing goals.
