About Rose
I am a passionate flute tutor with 15 years of experience, teaching High School, College, and adult students. Over this time, I have taught around 150-200 students, helping each one grow in skill, confidence, and love for music. My teaching philosophy centres on patience, motivation, and creating lessons that are both engaging and effective.
One of my most rewarding experiences was guiding a student who was nervous and hesitant into performing at their first recital. Watching their confidence blossom and their love for the flute deepen was unforgettable.
I tailor lessons to each student’s learning style, combining technical training, creative exercises, and real-life examples. My mission is to inspire students to enjoy their musical journey, develop discipline, and reach their fullest potential on the flute.

My methodology for teaching flute focuses on practical learning, creativity, and personal growth. I emphasise motivation, inspiring students to stay enthusiastic, confident, and dedicated to their practice.
I include problem-solving in every lesson, helping students overcome technical challenges and develop independence. Integrity guides my teaching, promoting discipline, honesty, and respect for music. I maintain flexibility, adapting lessons to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals.
Besides flute, I can teach related subjects such as music theory and fundamentals to build a well-rounded foundation. My approach ensures lessons are engaging, productive, and meaningful, helping students grow creatively and technically.
