About Tristan
I am an experienced musician of 10 years with the horn. I am an avid student under the tutelage of horn legend Dale Clevenger at the globally renowned Jacobs School of Music. I have attended masterclasses from the greatest horn players in the world including David Cooper, Erik Ruske, Bill VerMuelen, Jennifer Montone etc.
In addition to my musical education, I have also performed as a freelance musician, chamber ensemble member, and as a member of several large ensembles in the community.

I funnel wisdom from the greatest horn players in the world into one common method that I personally employ and has cause exponential growth in myself. My teaching is extremely conceptual and abstract while sticking to a formulaic approach to the technical side of the horn which leads to growth that is exponentially easier and faster. I believe in maximizing efficiency on all fronts when growing with the horn and one of the ways I do this is ensuring that you thoroughly understand the method behind everything we do. I spent many years struggling to find the concept of horn that fit me, and through the guidance of Dale Clevenger and a variety of top tier horn players such as David Cooper, Bill VerMuelen, Jennifer Montone etc., I have finally been able to discover my own understanding of how the horn works. I teach very conceptually and honestly about the discoveries I’ve made in my path with the horn. Every problem has a solution and I can’t wait to help you reinvent how you approach the horn.
