About
I have lived for 2 years in Austria and speak German fluently. I was a German teacher in high school in the United States for 2 years before pursuing my TESOL (ESL) degree. I have taught English for 10 years to foreign students and 2 years of German to American students. My class sizes are usually no more than 10 students. I also tutor in all academic subjects such as science, math, reading, writing, technology, social studies, and essay writing. We have consistently scored in the top on our OELPA scores, a mandated test by Ohio for all ESL students and my school district is an A school district.

I have Master's Degree in Secondary Education plus teaching certificate from the state of Ohio for TESOL and German, K-12. I am currently employed as a teacher at a public school in Ohio and it is my 8th year of teaching ESL there. My lessons are tailored to the specific needs of my students and what areas I see they need to work on in writing, listening, speaking, reading, vocabulary or grammar. I use a lot of technology in my lessons to keep things interesting and up-to-date.
